"Panels for the Walls of the World" chronicles the Stan VanDerBeek project of the same name through correspondence, drafts, photos, doodles, notes, collage scans, and newspaper clippings. This work was published on the occasion of Panels for the Walls of the World: Phase I and Phase II, exhibitions shown at DOCUMENT in Chicago, IL from March 5-April 23, 2022 and The Box in Los Angeles, CA from September 17-November 5, 2022, respectively.
Edited and designed by Chelsea Spengemann, director of the Stan VanDerBeek archive in New York. This work contains an essay, "Busing as Media Theory: Stan VanDerBeek's 'Panels for the Walls of the World'" written by Kirsten Gill.
